The grand front porch invites you into this unique manor house where, through the generations, many have celebrated life's special moments. Once in the home, one can see how the old and new sit side by side to create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

Lake O The Woods Plantation Manor House

This six thousand square foot home, with its' tall ceilings, pine floor and spectacular views will surely make any event memorable. The flow of the ground floor makes small or large gatherings comfortable and fluid.

One can relax in one of the many common rooms. Such as the library where one can sit quietly in front of the fireplace to browse through one of the many books in the owner's publishing collection, or entertain in the elegance of the Parlour.

For those looking for a less formal area, enjoy the openness of the family room with its' screened porch overlooking the terrace and pool.

Entertaining is easy in the lovely dining room and the over sized kitchen which can accommodate even the most ambitious of chefs.

The ground floor would not be complete without the Yellow Room with it's private bath and Victorian double bed.

Upstairs on the second floor the style and history of the house is clear in each of the individually exceptional bedrooms that lead off from the upper hallway.

The beautiful Red Room, with its original furniture and toile fabric shares a bath with the equally striking twin Blue Room.

The Green Room with it's eclectic mix of old and new and en suite bathroom is warm and inviting. Opposite this, across the hallway is the Brick Room, with its double bed and ensuite is named from the exposed brick which are handmade and original to the house.

The elegant Master Bedroom with spectacular views over the estate, has it's own en suite bathroom with free standing double sinks, and opens into the Master Sitting Room. This is a gentleman's study into which one can retreat after a busy day of exploring the area or simply having a bit of quiet time! It opens out onto the Master Porch, where ceiling fans cool you on a hot day enabling you to view the estate from the shaded porch.
