Once part of an 800 acre estate, much of the remaining 100+ acre plot and many of the original outbuilding are as they were in the early 1820's.
One can stroll leisurely around the ten lovely ponds, take a hike on one of the trails through the many wooded areas of the estate or just wonder down with your morning coffee to visit the charming Belted Galloway cattle who graze in the many paddocks.
A visit to the old "Pony Express" Stables will provide you with a glimpse into life in the 1820's. And a visit would not be complete with out a peak into the Summer Kitchen, half of the original 1790's homestead preserved with its' historic kitchen with large fireplace and small cook's bedroom.
Other original dependencies include, Smoke House, Old well, Chicken Coop, Seed shed, Work shed and of course the four-hole Out House. In addition we have added a pool, tennis court and stables.
